Once again....a tradition of ours. I'm just glad that after the PJ's are opened it's off to bed!

Christmas Program

Riley had a Christmas program at school this year where three different classes told us the great things about Christmas using the alphabet. I was a little nervous for him, only because I know last year he basically sat and stared....there was no singing, smiling or participating. But to my surprise, Riley got up, sang every song, spoke his part perfectly and smiled the whole time.

Last year my mom started a little tradition that has become something I look forward to. This is a day that she plans for months...and there is always so much thought involved. We all meet at mom's, she takes us out for lunch (where very important and critical information is exchanged...not) after this, we spend the day wrapping up our Christmas shopping and then we head back home for a "fancy" home-cooked dinner. The table of course is beautifully decorated all with personal gifts sitting atop our place settings. Thanks again mom (and dad, he cooked the meal this time to give mom a break) for a day I look forward to every year! I'm so grateful to have a mother who is so thoughtful...and talented! Here's to next year! Love you mom!

New Moon

All of us got together again for the second Twilight film...New Moon. It's always so much fun to hang out with my sisters. This year we had a few friends join the fun too!

We didn't do the midnight showing this time, but made a dinner appt., shopped the Gateway and stayed the night in a hotel. It really is the people you hang out with that makes the whole experience. Until June ladies...

Nap time?.....

Well, either I am an unfit mother, or Jake is very determined. A couple months back I went to deliver Primary handouts to the neighbors. When I left, Jake had been watching cartoons, so when I came back into the house and I couldn't find him, I was worried. So I started searching through every room and found him the very last place I looked...the pantry! He had somehow climbed up onto the third shelf and fell asleep...there was apparently something he just HAD to have. Too bad he fell asleep and never "partook".

Well, we survived the experience. Thanks to Wendi Coombs again for doing such a great job! I love having pictures in the fall, it's my favorite time of year. The best part, is seeing the way everyone has changed.
