Long time, no run...

Okay, so I went out for my first "real"(not on a treadmill) run the other night and it felt amazing! I only ran two and a half miles, but it was nice to turn the music up and get out there again. I usually stay pretty active, but I haven't found the time to do one of the things I love the most lately...run. Being as it was a small success, satisfaction-wise, I now remember why I love it so much. The only downside is the soreness in my hips. You'd think I just had a baby or something! Anyway, I must press on if I'm ever going to keep up with my boys...and stay young.

Run Amy, run!!

Way to go woman! It's always frustrating to start over again. I don't know how you keep it all together like you do.

Amy-- Good for you. I bet it feels really good to run, out in the outdoors and pump up the music. I know you have always been a runner. Good for you sweetie. Take some Ibuprofen ! i bet you could still out run Delon! LOL Love- Mom

First off I am glad you are doing something you love-it's like a little break. Second I am learning that it is like a marathon trying to keep up with boys! Since I don't run I better find a way to kick my butt and get into training. You however I admire!!!
Oh I will ask Bubba and Heather about their blog.

I admire you, too! It is so hard to find time to do things for ourselves...we have to make the time...good for you. I am going to try to make time for something I used to love doing, too!

GOOD JOB! Way to get out there. I wish I loved to run. I like to exercise...not so much run. BUT I am going to try to learn to like it after this baby. =)

Good for you. I miss running too. I haven't been able to run for a while now. Hopefully I will be able to start back up after the baby is born. Go You!

YOu go Girl! You know they say that might be a sign of old age? That or its our kids doing it to us. Every single time I go out for a run something hurts either my foot, my hips or my pride! So I feel your pain! Keep it up though you deserve a break!
